Set within a 1920s Art Deco pavilion‑style chalet, this unique venue overlooks the sweeping bay, offering uninterrupted views from the Isle of Wight in the east to Old Harry Rocks in the west.
With its relaxed atmosphere and breath-taking backdrop, it’s a memorable setting for weddings, civil partnerships, and renewal of vows.
Perfectly positioned just steps from the sand, Branksome Dene Room offers a bright, spacious interior ideal for intimate coastal celebrations. Inside, the room can accommodate up to 50 guests for your ceremony or reception. The adjoining patio can welcome an additional 30 guests, giving you the opportunity to create a lovely indoor‑outdoor flow when the weather is on your side. As the indoor capacity is fixed at 50, this number cannot be exceeded in poor weather.
If you’d like to organise your own gazebo, marquee or small tent to enhance the patio space, you’re very welcome to do so. These must be sourced and arranged directly by you, and a risk assessment will need to be submitted for approval ahead of your celebration.
Branksome Dene Room is bookable online on a room‑only basis, giving you exclusive use of the venue during your hire period. This flexible approach allows you to work directly with your preferred suppliers for catering, décor, entertainment, and any other arrangements you would like to include.
If you intend to offer a bar where guests will pay for drinks, you will need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from the Licensing Team before your event.
